Artists, producers and record labels urged to adopt tech

African tech giant, Global Media Ltd has urged artists, producers, and record labels to fast-track adoption of technology to mitigate cost, build trust and create new fan-centric products that help grow their brand and business.

Founding partner and MD Chris Michael Wanzala said use of educational marketing will greatly help reach out to a wider audience as compared to the traditional form or marketing.

Speaking in Nairobi during the Technology In Marketing forum, Mr. Wanzala said, “record labels and producers should be adopting educational marketing innovations such as ‘Vido+ (Vido Plus)’ to reduce costs, build trust, analyze data to create more personalized products for artists and enhance use of customer-focused online channels for better service delivery.”
